I’ll be writing a little more about the summit in general and I’ll try to be a little more specific about my track and all the awesome people from it.

If you haven’t met Shai Agassi go ahead and read a little about him and his initiative.

We had the luck to hear him as a speaker in the kick off event and I must say that he is one of the best motivational speakers that I’ve heard… after five minutes you could tell that the only idea on everyone mind was: Wow! - This guy is really trying to save the world (and he might just do it).

It was a great start and after listening how he was working with the President Shimon Peres and the support from the same people that brought us all together, we all knew that we were in the right track.

I just wanted to take note of the questions he made us:

• What are you passionate about?
• What are your skills?
• How can you combine them?

Now that’s food for thought!

¡Hola a todos!

En estos momentos me encuentro en Jerusalem para un encuentro que reune a 120 personas de varias partes del mundo (27 paises de acuerdo al folleto que nos repartieron): ROI Summit 2008. En este evento se estarán discutiendo varios temas de interes para las diferentes comunidades judías por el mundo y se estarán exponiendo los diferentes proyectos en los cuales esta gente esta involucrada. Yo voy a presentar Jinuj.net.

Como parte del evento algunos participantes estaremos escribiendo al respecto (algo asi como reporteros ciudadanos) y en mi caso especifico estaré tratando de publicar algunas fotografías.

Asi que durante los proximos dias podran leer mi primer intento por hacerle de reportero… el unico detalle es que estaré escribiendo en Ingles con el fin de poner orgullosa a la Teacher y que el resto de los participantes puedan entender y de paso comentar al respecto.

¡Hola a todos! (I know, that was in spanish)

Right now I’m in Jerusalem for a summit that it’s getting 120 people from all over the world (27 countrys according to the booklet that the hand out): ROI Summit 2008. In this event we will be discussing some topics of interest for the different Jewish communities around the world and there will be presenting projects where the people is participating. I will be presenting Jinuj.net.

As part of the event, some participant will be writing about it (as citizen reporters) and in my case I will try to publish some photos.

For the following days you’ll see my first try to write as a reporter… the only thing is that I will be writing in english so my Maestra can be proud about it and the rest of the participants can understand it and write some comments.
