No soy experto legal en cuestiones de marcas registradas ni patentes pero según recuerdo si ya existe algo similar o igual públicamente de un tercero antes de la patente esta se invalida.

Cisco va a demandar a Apple por el uso de iPhone ya que tienen registrada la marca desde 1996.

Sin embargo el dominio iphone.com fue registrado por alguien ajeno a Cisco (aparentemente) el 24 de Agosto de 1995.

¿Esto invalidaría la patente de la marca?

Lo que voy a describir a continuación es mi teoría de como puedo obtener un iPhone con un numero local en México (o cualquier celular americano).

Para esto es necesario contratar 2 servicios:

1. El teléfono celular (iPhone + Cingular)
2. Una linea para redirigir las llamadas (con numero de México) de Lingo

En pocas palabras lo que estaremos haciendo es redirigir las llamadas de una linea mexicana al celular y para reducir costos podemos hacer todo esto con servicios de voz sobre IP.

Para hacer el calculo tomare en cuenta un plan de 450 minutos (el mas chico de Cingular) y el de 500 minutos de Lingo en conjunto.

Mensualidad Lingo: $28.68 Dls
Total: $68.67 Dls

Según la página de Cingular, no hay costo de Roaming ni de larga distancia por lo cual no habría costos adicionales al usarlo en México.

El plan mas cercano de Telcel es el GSM 300 que incluye 410 minutos y cuesta $688 pesos.

El precio es sumamente similar sin considerar seguros ni costos adicionales que ambas opciones pueden llegar a tener. Y para ponerle la cereza encima no habría que preocuparse por el que llama paga ya que todas las llamadas serian locales (y cuando estes viajando por Estados Unidos tendrías un número de alla).
